At this time packages cannot be tracked through our website. You will receive an email notification directly from UPS with tracking information once your order has shipped. Or you may call 412-825-3550 and ask one of our customer service representatives for your order status/ tracking information.
Chocolate Item Shipping Guide- Hot Weather (Ship Monday-Wednesday)
All chocolate items will melt or be affected by warm conditions (70° and above). For this reason, chocolates must be packaged in special insulated bags and/or foam lined boxes, packed with ice, and shipped to arrive within 2 business days. Chocolates cannot be shipped over the weekend from/to areas with temp above 70. This applies to areas that have warm weather throughout the year and for the entire country April thru October.
Hot weather protectionincludes faster transit time, and/ or special packaging and ice. It also includes an insurance that if the chocolate by chance do melt, we will replace it no questions asked.
Choosing to forgo Hot Weather Protection when the weather is above 70, will forgo our guarantee that it arrives in perfect condition. Any melted chocolate cannot be replaced. Choosing to forgo Hot Weather Protection during months of fluctuating temperatures may also cause delays in shipping.
Chocolate items shipped via Ground or 2nd Day Air ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Orders placed after 2 pm Wednesday will ship the following Monday. Chocolate items shipped Next Day Air ship Monday-Thursday. All Next Day Air chocolate orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will ship the following Monday. We recommend a premium service such as 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air if the destination is more than 2 business days away from our location.
Gifts are usually shipped within 1-2 business day from the time the order is received. Orders placed after 2pm (EST) may not ship until the following business day. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be shipped the next business day. Orders placed during the holiday season may be delayed up to a week due to the volume of orders received. Bulk orders and customized orders may need extra time to fulfill.
Most gifts are shipped via UPS Ground, USPS or FedEx unless otherwise noted. The following map will give you an idea of how long the ship time will be from our location to your destination in terms of business days. These transit times are not guaranteed. Free Shipping items ship via USPS and may require an additional 2-4 days in transit. If you need the item sooner, please be sure to upgrade shipping to 2nd Day or Next Day Air.
UPS delivery requires a complete street address. UPS charges $20+ for incomplete or incorrect addresses. To avoid additional charges, please be sure you have complete and correct addresses when ordering.
Gifts that contain chocolate cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes, APO's, & FPO's in hot weather areas.
Future Date Shipping
If you would like your order to be shipped on a date in the future, please type your request in the Future In Hands Date Area found at the bottom of the shipping address section. Please be sure to pick a date allowing for your chosen shipping method and it's corresponding transit time. Ground delivery & Free shipping items cannot guarantee an exact date; package can be delivered 1-3 business days before or after your selected delivery date. For guarenteed delivery date please upgrade to 2nd Day or Next Day Air.
Gift Purchases and Returns
If we are shipping your gift directly to your gift recipient don't forget to enclose a gift note ("Gift Note" window) and be sure your information is included on the billing page and the recipient's information is included on the shipping page.
Our items are perishable, returned or refused items cannot be resold and are not eligible for refund.
Packages undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided are not elgible for a refund.
Any shipments that requires an address correction while in transit will incur a $15 UPS change of address fee. We regret that we cannot extend our weather protection guarantee when your package is delayed for these reasons.
Orders placed online cannot be refunded if the incorrect shipping method was chosen resulting in early or late delivery, if there were spelling or grammatical errors, or for incorrect/ incomplete shipping addresses.
Deliveries to Hospitals, Hotels and Colleges: It is the responsibility of their mailroom or receiving department to deliver the package to your intended recipient. Please be aware that this may cause delays as the mailroom or receiving departments do not guarantee delivery within a specific amount of time. We strongly suggest not sending packaged to patients due to their short stay or movement between rooms.
